With different Topic Display types, you can help your end-users to see your topics organized within the widget. Use Topic Display to customize how your topics will look within the widget. In this article, we’ll show you how to change the Topic Display.


This feature is currently in BETA and as of now is available for Folders, Walkthroughs and Tooltips Topic types. Take a look at our release cycle on how to switch to beta here.

These settings are in Site-Level. If the Topic is assigned on multiple Sites, the settings need to be applied by opening the Topic under each Site via the Authoring Tool.


How to change Topic Displays

  1. Within the Authoring tool while working on a Topic, click Manage.


  1. Choose the Topic Display type.


  1. Add a link for your Topic image.


This will place an image next to your Topic Title and Description.



  1. Click Save.


Different Topic Display Styles

Default - shows a standard list of your topics.



Card - Shows a list of the topic with the Topic Image and Topic Description.



Standalone- this shows a list of your topics wherein each topic is within a box.



Standalone Card - Shows a list of the topic with the Topic Image and Topic Description wherein each topic is within a box.
